Please note: the program is only eligible to Western New York customers in our service territory. Rebate offers are available for qualifying equipment purchased and installed on or after November 1, 2007, only. Space and water heating appliances must be installed by a contractor. Contractors must be able to supply one of the following in order for the rebate application to be considered complete: Federal ID number, a Certificate of Insurance or a Business Certificate showing their company's name and address. Rebates are available for equipment upgrades only. New-builds are not eligible for rebates.
In order for a rebate application to be considered complete and processed, the following information must be supplied:

- Paid invoice or receipt(s) indicating the Retailer/Contractor name, Federal ID number, or a Certificate of Insurance or a Business Certificate showing their company's name and address.
- Itemized description of each product, including:
- Manufacturer, and complete model number.
- Energy Factor (EF) for natural gas water heaters.
- AFUE (efficiency) rating for natural gas furnace or boiler.
- Product installation date.

The National Fuel Conservation Incentive Program also includes a number of other ways for you to save through energy efficiency, including initiatives specifically designed to assist lower income households. Customers who may be eligible for free weatherization assistance will be identified by National Fuel, social service providers, and referred to EmPower New York.
